Britain's Got Talent choir reunite 13-year-old with family

Britain's Got Talent finalists the Missing People Choir gave an emotional performance during Saturday night's final that left both Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon in tears, and now it has been confirmed that a 13-year-old has been found following their stint on the show.

The choir failed to win the show but they've managed to achieve something a lot more important to them.

Missing People Choir have confirmed that a 13-year-old has been reunited with their family after watching them perform on Saturday night.

Clare Cook, co-founder of the Missing People Choir and Deputy Director of Fundraising and Communications at the charity has released the following statement:

"We are delighted to announce that a 13 year old missing child who we appealed for on Britain’s Got Talent during the Missing People Choir’s performance saw his appeal and called his mum. He is now home safe and well".

The missing child witnessed the choir's emotional performance of the track 'With You' from Ghost The Musical. As the choir performed, pictures of missing people flashed up on the large screen in the background.

The choir is made up of parents of missing people and has since raised nearly £7,000 for the charity since they set up a JustGiving page after their Britain's Got Talent audition.

Not only has a child been found from their stint on Britain's Got Talent, it was reported earlier in the week that there has been a 'significant lead' in the search for Tom Moore, a 31-year-old who's been missing since 2003.

Despite their incredible performance in the final, the choir ending up finishing in eighth place with pianist Tokio Myers winning the show.

Tokio became the 11th winner of the talent show after his performance of Rag'n'Bone Man's track 'Human'.
