Superhero Grants

Following on form the amazing success of Superhero Day in May our Local Executive Board were able to meet to grant out the money raised.

Here are just some of the examples of the difference you have made by donning your cape and responding to our call for help.

Special needs buggy for a little boy with mobility issues.

Beds for two children who are currently sleeping on old mattresses on the floor.

Sensory equipment for a little boy who has profound needs and is often too poorly to attend school

Special trike to help with physiotherapy for a little boy with cerebral palsy

Sound system for a drama group entirely run by volunteers and who provide performance opportunities and subsidised exams to the attending children. They have trained youngsters to help back stage and continue to raise funds for themselves and other charities through their productions. The sound system will enable them to continue with good quality performances for all members.

Counselling and Bereavement support services for children

Jack and his family will have their first ever holiday to make lots of memories together before he loses his sight
