This letter from an Autistic Preston boy to I'm A Celebrity's Anne Hegerty will melt your heart
This is adorable! ❤️
The Chase legend Anne 'The Governess' Hegerty hasn't had the best start to jungle life on I'm A Celebrity. After finding herself on the losing team, viewers witnessed her breaking down in the Snake Rock camp, and now she's been voted to do a hellish looking Bushtucker trial.
However, as Anne's fellow team mates at Snake Rock rally around her, the quiz master has bravely opened up about living with Autism. She said in the Bush telegraph, "I really appreciate how nice and sympathetic they've been to me. It was nice that they said I pick up on social cues because I'm never quite sure that I entirely do. I just get overwhelmed with all the things there are to do."
After opening up on the show, a number of I'm A Celebrity viewers took to Twitter to praise the 60-year-old for raising awareness, but it was a hand-written letter from an Autistic boy from Preston that really pulled at people's heartstrings.
Last year's Queen of the Jungle Georgia 'Toff' Toffolo shared the note, which was written by an 11-year-old boy called Joseph Hughes.
It read, 'To Anne, My name is Joseph Hughes and I am 11. I live in Preston, Lancashire, and I go to a specialist school. I was diagnosed with Autism when I was 5. I like to watch you on The Chase and now I've been watching you in the jungle. I think you are very brave for going in the jungle, I couldn't go there because there are too many bugs.
'Sometimes people are mean to me because I am Autistic but watching you makes me see that other people can have autism too and maybe I can have a cool job like you when I am older. Do you like Thunderbirds? I love them my favourite is Thunderbirds 2. I have drawn you a picture I hope you like it.
'Good luck in the jungle I hope you win. Love from Joseph.' sic

Meanwhile, after taking part in the first Dingo Dollar challenge of the series alongside former X Factor star Fleur East, Anne was later voted by the public to compete in tonight's Bushtucker trial, 'Monstrous Monoliths'.
Emily Atack won her place in the main camp on last night's show after impressing in 'The Viper Pit', despite getting a little bite by one of the snakes.
