Woman charged with attempted murder following an incident in Sittingbourne

A woman's been charged with attempted murder following an incident in Sittingbourne where it's alleged a pedestrian was deliberately struck by a vehicle.

One man was taken to hospital.

Last Friday (31st May). just before 5.30am in the morning emergency services were called out to Bobbing Roundabout on the A249 .

One man was taken to hospital for treatment for his injuries and has since been discharged.

26-year-old Lauren Willis, of Wollaston Close, Gillingham has been charged with attempted murder, two counts of actual bodily harm and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.

Officers are appealing to witnesses who have not yet spoken the police to contact the appeal line. Motorists with dashcam are also asked to check for relevant footage.
