Kent Police have confirmed they have charged a woman with murder after a stabbing in Maidstone.

Emergency services were called to Southfields Way in the Harrietsham area yesterday morning (2 July) - where they found a man with stab wounds.

He has since been named as Jack Cadwallader.

The 25-year-old was rushed to hospital but pronounced dead a short time later.

The force say they have now charged Paige Poulton with murder.

Ms Poulton, 19, of Southey Road, Haringey, London will appear before Margate Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 3 July.

Another man who was arrested has since been released without charge.

The investigation is now being led by the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate.
