Two men have been charged with GBH with intent in Meopham

Patrols also seized quantities of cocaine and cannabis

It happened following reports of a serious assault at a property in the village shortly before 8pm on Wednesday

Kent police followed a vehicle with the help of a police helicopter after a man was hurt.

Two men were later arrested in Erskine Road, Gravesend. Patrols also seized quantities of cocaine and cannabis.

Jimmy Capper, 30, of Medhurst Gardens, Gravesend, and Adam Cooke, 26, of Pearsons Green Road, Brenchley, Tonbridge, were both charged by investigators from north Kent CID with causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

They have also been charged with possession of cocaine with intent to supply and possession of cannabis with intent to supply. Mr Cooke has been additionally charged with dangerous driving.
