Two men arrested after Ramsgate assault

Two men have been arrested following a serious assault in Ramsgate.

Kent Police were called at 2.42am on Sunday 28 July to a report of a disturbance involving a group of people outside a premises on Harbour Parade.

It was alleged that a man had been assaulted by three men and had sustained injuries.

Officers attended along with South East Coast Ambulance Service and a man in his twenties was taken to a local hospital for medical treatment. He was later discharged.

Later that day, officers arrested a 23-year-old man and a 28-year-old man on suspicion of assault. They have since been bailed pending further enquiries.
