Two charged after teenager stabbed and seriously injured in Maidstone
Two 18 year olds are due in court today following a serious assault on Bargrove Road on Sunday
Two men have been charged after a teenager was stabbed and seriously injured in Maidstone.
The 17 year old victim remains in a serious but stable condition in hospital following the incident in the Bargrove Road area at around 9:30pm on Sunday night.
An 18 year old man was initially arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder but was released on bail.
Two further arrests were made on Tuesday (July 2), with both suspects now being charged.
Derrick Okoh, 18, of Brown Street, Gillingham, has since been charged with violent disorder and possession of an offensive weapon.
Ezekiel Barnes-Naseno, 18, of Abbey Drive, Dartford, has been charged with the same offences but is alleged to have been in possession of a knife.
Both have been remanded in custody ahead of an appearance at Medway Magistrates' Court today (July 4).
An 18 year old woman questioned on suspicion of assisting an offender has been released on bail.
