A man's been charged after hundreds of cannabis plants were seized from a unit in Herne Bay.

Police were called to the site in Sea Street on Thursday after concerns were raised to them.

The building was entered and officers found around 500 plants at different stages of growth, which were seized along with growing equipment.

34-year-old Rubin Deshati, from the same road, has been remanded in custody to appear at Canterbury Crown Court next month.
