Seven arrested in Kent drugs warrants
Police carried out raids yesterday morning
Seven suspected members of a drug dealing network have been arrested during a series of coordinated warrants in east Kent.
Kent Police carried out searches of seven properties in the Dover, Deal, Thanet and Aylesham areas yesterday morning (5 February 2025) as part of the force’s work tackling organised crime.
Officers seized suspected heroin, crack cocaine and ecstasy, as well as knives and cash, following searches assisted by sniffer dogs.
Six men and a woman, who are aged between 21 and 63, have been arrested on suspicion of various offences and they remain in custody while an investigation continues.
Tackling organised crime
Detective Inspector Eleanor Miller said: "Organised crime networks not only profit from the misery of drug users, but their activities are often behind antisocial behaviour and other crimes we see in our towns and communities.
"For this reason, Kent Police will continue to seek out, arrest and bring to justice those who are involved in this activity.'Anyone dealing drugs in the county should know that our officers could be at their front door tomorrow."
