Rare post box stolen from Edenbridge

A King Edward the VII cast iron post box has been reported stolen in Kent.

The ornamental artefact, which is between 115 and 124 years old, was taken from an address near Spout Lane in Crockham Hill at the start of last week.

The theft occurred between 11.30pm on Monday 24 and 8am on Tuesday 25 March 2025. Investigating officers are now looking for witnesses.

Local residents with private CCTV or drivers with dashcam, who may have been in the area at the time of the incident, are being asked to check for footage.
