Suspected burglars charged and power tools seized

Two suspected burglars have been charged and power tools seized.
Patrols became aware of a car being driven in a suspicious manner along Valley Drive in Gravesend on the evening of Wednesday 7 May 2025.
Officers signalled for the vehicle to stop before following it to Windsor Road. Those inside were detained.

The following day, Kieron Butler, 32, and Jack Percival, 28, were charged with five burglary offences in relation to incidents reported in the Shorne area between 4 and 5 May, where equipment was allegedly stolen. They were also charged with theft and criminal damage.
Mr Butler, of Oak Road, Gravesend, will face an additional charge of dangerous driving.
He and Mr Percival, of Marsh View, Gravesend, were remanded to appear before Sevenoaks magistrates on Friday 9 May.
