Police release e-fit of man suspected of rape in Canterbury

A 17-year-old boy was raped in the public toilets of Dane John Gardens

An e-fit image has been released of a suspect in a Canterbury rape investigation.

Detectives are investigating a report that a 17-year-old boy was raped in the public toilets of Dane John Gardens by a man he had earlier spoken to in the park.

A report was later made to Kent Police and further enquiries have established that the incident took place between 5pm and 6pm on Monday 5 February 2024.

As part of the ongoing investigation, an e-fit image of the suspect has now been released.

The suspect is described as white, around 6ft tall, in his late 30s and was wearing a dark hooded top and grey-blue jogging bottoms.
