Detectives investigating a sexual assault in Canterbury have released CCTV images of a man who may be able to assist enquiries.

A teenage girl was walking in the Station Road West area on the afternoon of 29 August 2024 when she was approached by a man who attempted to talk to her.

When she refused to engage with the man, he tried to kiss her and touched her inappropriately.

Officers have since been carrying out enquiries and a 26-year-old man from the city has been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and bailed while the investigation continues.

The man they wish to identify from the new images was wearing a distinctive hooded top, riding a white bike and carrying a green Deliveroo bag.
