One person in hospital after house explodes in Kent

One person has been taken to hospital after a bungalow exploded in Canterbury Road, Charing, at 11:41am today.

Kent Fire and Rescue say five fire engines and a bulk water carrier are at the scene, as well as Kent Police.

They added that "people are still urged to avoid the area while emergency services work at the scene.
