Officers in Kent are continuing to investigate reports of a violent burglary in Sevenoaks.

The force say a man entered a residential property on 21 June in Parkfield and assaulted a woman, causing facial injuries.

He then stole several items, including jewellery, before leaving.

Detectives are now urging motorists to help them as they seek to identify a suspect on a bicycle wearing a high visibility vest.

They have identified a number of roads he may have used and drivers are asked to check for any footage between 3pm and 6.30pm, on routes leading to surrounding areas including Underriver, Riverhill, Bitchet Green and Hildenborough.

Detectives are particularly keen to review dashcam footage from journeys made in Park Lane.
