Motorcyclist critical after crash with car in St Margaret's at Cliffe

A motorcyclist has suffered life-threatening injuries following a collision with a car in St Margaret’s at Cliffe near Dover.

Kent Police were called to Dover Road between Pond Lane and the junction for Station Road and High Street at 2.50pm on Saturday afternoon.

A spokesperson for Kent Police said:

"The motorcyclist, a man in his 40s, was riding an orange Honda bike towards the junction when he was involved in a collision with a grey Citroen C4 travelling in the opposite direction.

"He was taken to a London hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

"No other injuries were reported. "
