Motorcyclist, 22, dies after falling from bike in Ashford

A man's died after falling from his motorbike in Ashford.

Emergency services were called to Bad Munstereifel Road at around 9.45pm last night (13 August), to a section of the road close to Orbital Park.

A spokesperson for Kent Police said:

"It's reported a man fell from a blue Kawaski motorcycle after the vehicle struck a kerb.

"No other vehicles are believed to have been involved.

"Officers and South East Coast Ambulance Service attended and the victim, aged 22, died at the scene. His next of kin have been informed."

Enquiries are being carried out by the Serious Collision Investigation Unit.

Motorists who were in the area are urged to check for any dashcam footage, which may assist the investigation.
