Man seriously injured in Ashford collision
A man is in hospital with life-threatening injuries
Kent Police have confirmed a man in in hospital with life-threatening injuries aftfer a serious collision in Ashford.
The force said they attended reports of a blue Kia Rio was involved in a collision with a lamppost in Forge Lane, near the junction with Norwood Gardens, at around 11.10pm on Tuesday 25 June 2024.
The man was taken to a hospital in London.
A 21-year-old man from Ashford was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and was taken into custody.
Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are working to establish the full circumstances, and are appealing for anyone who saw the collision, or the vehicle beforehand.
