Man seriously injured following crash in Margate

It is believed that his car collided with a tree

A man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after it is believed that a car crashed into a tree in Margate.

Police were called at around 9.45am on Thursday 25 January 2024 to reports that a grey Volkswagen T-Roc has been involved in a collision in Vincent Road.

The car is thought to have collided with a tree and was found in an adjacent field.

Emergency services attended and the driver, a man in his 40s, was taken to a London hospital with serious injuries.

Kent Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is investigating and urge anyone who witnessed the collision or has CCTV or dashcam footage to contact them.
