A suspected thief who allegedly targeted seven fuel stations across north and west Kent has been charged with 15 offences.

The force says they received reports of a spate of thefts from garages in places like Maidstone, Sheerness and Tonbridge between July and October this year.

Proactive patrols spotted a vehicle suspected to be connected to the incidents in Old Tovil Road, Maidstone, on Friday 4 October.

Officers have since arrested James Dunn in connection with the incidents.

The 46-year-old was charged with 15 offences and will appear before a crown court next month.
