Man dies in motorcycle sidecar crash near Cranbrook

Kent Police have confirmed a man has died in a crash involving two motorcycle sidecar vehicles at a racetrack in Cranbrook.

The force say the victim suffered fatal injuries following a collision on the track in Frittenden, during a competition on Sunday 30 June 2024.

The incident happened at around 6.10pm at a location off Digdog Lane and involved two motorcycle-sidecar combination vehicles.

The 24-year-old, from Cornwall, died at the scene.

His next of kin have been informed.

Kent Police are now urging witnesses to come forward, and are especially seeking phone footage from spectators.
