Man dies after crash on M2 near Faversham

Investigators are now appealing for information

A man has died after a crash on the M2 near Faversham last night.

Kent Police was called shortly after 8pm last night (Wednesday 20 November), to a collision involving a pedestrian and a number of vehicles on the coastbound carriageway of the M2 motorway, between junctions 5 and 6.

Patrols and South East Coast Ambulance Service attended and a man in his 50s was confirmed deceased at the scene.

His next of kin has been informed.

An investigation into the circumstances is underway.

Anyone who saw what happened, including seeing the pedestrian or vehicles prior to the incident, or who may have dashcam footage, is asked contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit.
