Man charged with murder near Faversham

Detectives are continuing to investigate what happened.

A man's been charged with murder following the death of a man near Faversham.

Emergency services were called to a report of a disturbance in The Street, Boughton-under-Blean at 10.39pm on Wednesday (13 March).

Officers attended along with South East Coast Ambulance Service and a man in his 30s was found with a stab wound.

He was confirmed dead near the scene.

On Thursday (14 March), a man who presented himself at Canterbury police station was arrested.

He's due to appear in court today (Saturday 16 March)

Three other men, aged between 37 and 42, who were arrested in connection with the incident have been bailed, pending further investigation.

Two men, aged 31 and 43, who were also detained have been released without charge.

Detectives are continuing to appeal to anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has information, CCTV or dashcam footage from the area around that time.
