Man charged with multiple burglaries in Medway after police pursuit
The man was stopped by police in a stolen car in Walderslade Road
A resident in Chatham alerted police after she received notifications that her bank cards were being used to make fraudulent purchases.
The bank cards had been stolen from her home near The Brook.
Three days later, a resident in Cross Street had found her Nissan had been stolen after the keys had been taken in a break-in.
Officers then saw the vehicle and requested the driver to stop.
He was then pursued by police, driving in an allegedly dangerous manner.
Once the Nissan stopped on Walderslade Road, the two occupants were arrested.
Connor Robinson, of no fixed address, was later charged with two burglaries, fraud, theft of a car, dangerous driving, driving whilst disqualified, driving without insurance and failing to provide a specimen of blood for analysis.
He will appear in Maidstone Crown Court on Monday 2 September.
A 27-year-old woman from Chatham who was also detained is pending further investigation.
