Chatham man charged with sexual assault
Police investigating the sexual assault of a woman on the top deck of bus in Snodland have charged a man.
A man from Chatham has been charged after a woman was sexually assaulted on a bus.
The victim reported being attacked as she walked past another passenger on the top deck of the service at Snodland on Thursday 30 May 2024.
Following an investigation by the Maidstone Vulnerability Investigation Team, including reviewing CCTV footage, officers arrested a man.
22-year-old Kareem Esono-Dagrasa from Maidstone Road was charged with sexual assault on a female.
He appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court where he was bailed to appear at Maidstone Magistrates’ Court on 30 September.
