Man charged with offences against four girls in Folkestone

A man's been charged in connection with reports of assaults against four girls in Folkestone.

Police were called out on Sunday lunchtime (2 June) to reports a man touched a girl on the leg and made inappropriate comments in the Road of Remembrance.

Isaac Hammond, of Marine Terrace, Folkestone, has since been charged with sexual touching in relation to the incident.

The 79-year-old has also been charged with two further counts of sexual touching relating to similar incidents on a bus in Folkestone on Saturday 1 June.

He is also charged with sexually assaulting a girl near Harbour Street on Thursday 21 March.

He will appear at Canterbury Crown Court on 1 July.
