Man left with bleed on the brain after suspected serious assault near Tunbridge Wells
A member of the public found him in a confused and distressed state
Police are urging witnesses to come forward after a man was found near Tunbridge Wells suffering multiple head injuries.
An investigation is underway into a suspected serious assault after the man was located by a member of public, in a confused and distressed state on a footpath in Rusthall.
The incident happened during last Thursday evening (23 January) in woodland leading from Rusthall Road and near to the cricket pitch.
The victim, in his 20s, remains in hospital.
His injuries include multiple cuts and a bleed to the brain.
They not believed to be life threatening.
