Man airlifted to hospital after serious collision in Broadstairs

The pedestrian, who is in his 20s, is in a life-threatening condition

A male pedestrian has been airlifted to hospital following a serious collision in Broadstairs.

The crash, which also involved a car, occurred on Fairfield Road near the junction with Fair Street, at around 12:25pm on Sunday.

The pedestrian, who is in his 20s, was taken to hospital in a life-threatening condition.

The driver of the car involved, a Nissan Qashqai, stopped at the scene.

Kent Police have made no arrests and are continuing investigations into the collision.
