It's according to the latest figures, published by the Office for National Statistics.
Knife crime across Kent has decreased by 17 percent.
However, the latest figures, published by the Office for National Statistics, has found that the number of incidents involving knives increased by two percent across the country.
Andy Richardson is from Uprising - a charity helps educate young people across Kent about the dangers of knife crime, and he explains the work they do.
He said: "I don't think you can sugar coat this topic, i keep it very real, I tell real life stories of young people that I have worked with that have been caught up in this lifestyle.
"I also run workshops, where I play the would you rather game, and I ask the young people would they rather suffer with PTSD or guilt and we have a discussion around that.
He also believes collaboration, with other organisations, is so important, he said: "I'm part of a puzzle, and i'm only a piece in it, and there are other people who do such good work as the Violence Reduction Unit or the child centre policing and we are constantly working together, to improve young peoples lives and keep them safe."
