A former Gurkha in Kent says it's important to reflect on members of Armed Forces who've lost their lives on Remembrance Sunday.

We've been speaking to Purna Gurung who served in Afghanistan till 2012 - when he was discharged on medical grounds.

He told us what today means to him: "The main thing is remembering the lives that we have lost. It means more to me because I have lost some of my colleagues as well when I was in Afghanistan. So I have lost three of my own colleagues and so many others we lost in the same year."

Purna now works at the Royal British Legion Industries in Aylesford. He says he works alongside others he knows: "I don't feel any different from being in the army because there are so many colleagues from the same regiment as well. So it's good for my mental health as well, because I can share so many things. Because we are all injured, we can see things that many others maybe cannot see."
