Police have issued a fresh appeal in connection with the disappearance of a Dartford man.

61-year-old Wayne Parchment was last seen by a relative in the Spital Street area of the town on Thursday 10th April, but was spotted on CCTV a day later entering Central Park.

He is described as bald, with a grey beard and of mixed race. He’s around 6ft tall and often wears a landyard around his neck.

Specialist teams at Kent Police have been supported by the National Police Air Service and Kent Search and Rescue volunteers.

“I am urging local people living close to the park, including the Tree Estate, to check their properties, gardens and outbuildings, “said Chief Inspector Lee Cheeseman.

“Cyclists, dog walkers and others who are out and about in the town and surrounding areas are also asked to remain vigilant.”

Anyone who notices Wayne is encouraged to call 999.
