Folkestone school fire investigated as arson
A police investigation's ongoing
A fire at a school in Folkestone is now being investigated as arson.
Police were sent to Church Road two weeks ago (Thursday 15th August), following a fire which is is believed to have started between 5.30pm and 5.45pm.
No injuries were reported, but officers say they believe it was suspicious.
In a statement, Kent Police added: "Witnesses have reported seeing a suspect in the area, described as a man in his early 20s, wearing a black balaclava, gloves, a black hooded top, black shorts and a black backpack.
"Anyone with information, CCTV or dashcam footage which may assist the investigation is urged to call Kent Police on 01843 222289 quoting reference 46/137838/24."
