Police release image as part of investigation into fatal crash near Pembury
Officers want to speak to occupants of a blue Ford Fiesta
Police investigating a fatal crash involving three vehicles near Pembury have released an image in the hope of identifying potential witnesses.
The collision took place at around 6.40pm on Saturday 20th December 2025 on the A228 Pembury Northern Bypass, near the junction with Old Church Road.
They are particularly keen to speak to the occupants of a blue Ford Fiesta believed to have stopped at the Esso petrol station on the junction of the Pembury Bypass at around 6.41pm, shortly after the fatal incident.
The crash involved a black Triumph motorcycle and a light-coloured Jaguar car travelling towards Tunbridge Wells, as well as a silver Ford van going the opposite way.
Both the motorcyclist, a man in his 30s, and his passenger, a woman also in her 30s, were confirmed dead at the scene by attending police and ambulance crews. Their next of kin have been informed.
Police urge potential witnesses to come forward
Investigations are being conducted by the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, which has repeated requests for witnesses to get in touch.
Drivers with dashcam footage are urged to check for any evidence of the vehicles in the moments leading up to the collision or anything that may help the investigation.
