Becky Sawbridge is from Dover. She fell into debt three years ago after falling ill, and is still paying the money back, she said:

"When I become unwell I had to readjust how I lived, and I like many others had to really struggle for the best part of three years, before I could see anything from it.

"I made sure I had one meal a day, usually at lunchtime, and I heated just one room, which meant I lived in either my living room or kitchen because I could put the gas cooker on in the latter and fire on in the former and then just I'd just sit in a room with my hot water bottles."
