EFL Fixtures: Who are Gillingham playing next season?

The EFL fixtures for the upcoming season have been released.

Mark Bonner's first league game in charge of Gillingham FC will be against Carlisle United at Priestfield on August 10.

The fixtures for the new season were released at 9am on Thursday June 26.

It will see Bonner take charge of his first league encounter on home turf against a Carlisle side who were relegated from League 1 earlier in the year.

Long back-to-back trips then follow against Morecambe and Fleetwood Town respectively .

That is before newly promoted Chesterfield make the trip to Kent on August 31.

The Gills travel to Colchester on Boxing Day but will be at home to Bromley on New Year's Day.

It is Bromley's first time playing in the Football League next season.

The season concludes on May 3 with Gillingham taking a trip to Port Vale.
