A woman has suffered stab wounds after being attacked with a bottle outside a supermarket in Dartford.

A 16-year-old girl was arrested and bailed in connection with the assault in Oldfield Place between 7.10pm and 7.30pm on Sunday.

The victim in her 30s has since been released from hospital.

A Kent Police spokesperson said: "It is reported a woman in her 30s was assaulted with a bottle and suffered injuries consistent with stab wounds, during an incident involving several people.

"Emergency services attended the scene and the victim was taken to hospital for medical attention.

"It is understood there were members of the public in the area at the time of the incident and officers are urging witnesses who have not yet spoken to the police to contact them."
