Bungalow fire in Whitstable

Five engines have been attending the scene

There's been a fire at a property in Whitstable.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a bungalow on The Warren.

Five fire engines and a ladder attended and crews, wearing breathing apparatus, used main jets and hose reel jets to put out the flames.

The volunteer response team also attended, to support the residents and the crews.

One person was passed into the care of SECAmb paramedics.

The cause iof the fire is currently being investigated, but is believed to be accidental.
