Body found in search for missing Folkestone woman

A body has been discovered in the search for a missing young woman from Folkestone.

Police say she was found this afternoon in the undergrowth at the Warren.

Formal identification's yet to take place but the family of a missing 24-year-old from the town have been informed.

Leah Daley, 24, was last seen at The Warren along the coast at 7pm on Sunday, May 5.

Over the last 12 days, extensive searches had taken place, with her family making a statement on Tuesday, saying "people don't just vanish."

Today at 9pm, a vigil had been due to take place at the Leas bandstand, where candles were to be lit and prayers said. It is not known if it will still go ahead.
