Body found in Strood during search for missing man

Kent Police was called at 11.08am on Tuesday 22 October 2024 to a report of a body being found near Knight Road, Strood.

Officers, South East Coast Ambulance Service and H.M. Coastguard attended the scene where a man was confirmed deceased.

Formal identification has yet to take place, but the family of a 25 year old man from who was reported missing in the area since Friday 18 October, have been informed.

The death is not being treated as suspicious at this stage and a report is being prepared for the coroner.
