Ashford suspect charged with knife possession

An Ashford man has been charged for possession of an offensive weapon in a private place, and possession of cannabis.

Ervin Cela, 21, of Beaver Road, Ashford, was arrested on Friday 1 November 2024.

Officers were carrying out enquiries at a property in the town when they found and seized two knives and a quantity of cannabis.

Cela has been released on bail and is expected to appear at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court later today (15 November).
