Appeal after bike rider killed in crash in Kent

Police say his bicycle collided with a parked car

A bike rider has died in hospital following a collision near Rolvenden.

Police say the 65-year-old was injured after the bicycle he was on collided with the door of a stationary blue Ford car in Maytham Road in Rolvenden Layne at around 12.40pm on March 24th.

He was taken to a London hospital and passed away there four days later.

Kent Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is now investigating the incident and officers are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
