18-year-old dies after fatal crash in Broadstairs
Kent Police are appealing for witnesses and footage
Kent Police have launched an appeal for witnesses after a fatal collision in Broadstairs.
Yesterday (October 1) at around 3:20am, it's reported a black Seat Ibiza collided with a tree in Dumpton Park Drive, near to the junction with Bay View Road.
An 18-year-old man, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was confirmed to have died at the scene, after officers attended the collision alongside the South East Coast Ambulance Service.
The driver was taken to a local hospital to be treated for his injuried.
The Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) have since launched an appeal for witnesses, and for anyone with relevant CCTV or dash cam footage to get in touch.
