Two drivers taken to hospital after crash near Tore roundabout

Police are appealing to anyone who may have info about today's collision to come forward.

A teenager and a man have been taken to hospital following a three car crash on the A835.

Emergency services rushed to the scene just after today's collision at 1:10pm between the Maryburgh and Tore roundabouts.

An 18-year-old woman, who was driving a Vauxhall Corsa, was taken to Raigmore by ambulance.

A 56-year-old man, the driver of a Sportage, was also taken to hospital.

Police say he was arrested in connection with a suspected road traffic offence.

The crash also involved a bronze Peugeot 3008, but no one else was injured and the road re-opened at 5:45pm.

Sergeant Calum MacAulay said: “We are carrying out enquiries to establish the full circumstances of this crash and appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash or arrived at the scene soon after to come forward.

“In particular, if you have dash-cam footage that could assist with our investigation then please get in touch.”
