Three people have been taken to hospital following a serious crash on the A96 at Tomhommie between Gollanfield and Nairn.

The incident happened just after 7:30pm on Tuesday, November 14th with a white Ford Transit and a silver Ford Tourneo Connect involved.

The driver and the passenger in the Tourneo (a 56-year-old man and a 73-year-old woman) along with the van driver, a 37-year-old man, were all taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness.

The road was closed for almost five hours, and re-opened around 00.20am in the early hours of Wednesday.

Anyone who saw what happened is being asked to contact Police, particularly if they have dash-cam footage. The incident number is 3110 of Tuesday, 14 November, 2023.
