Man suffers serious injuries in Grantown-on-Spey motorbike crash
The 49 year old was moved to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment
A man is being treated in hospital after being seriously injured in a motorbike crash near Grantown-on-Spey.
The 49 year old was originally taken to Raigmore Hospital, before being moved to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
The incident happened on the A939 Grantown-on-Spey to Nairn Road at the junction with A940 at Loch Allan, and involved a red Vauxhall Corsa and a red and black Ducati Multistrada motorbike.
The male driver of the car did not require hospital treatment.
The road was reopened around 10.15pm after being closed for investigations.
Sergeant David Miller said: “Our enquiries are ongoing, and I am appealing for anyone who has any information which could assist to contact us.
“I would particularly appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time and who witnessed the crash and has not already spoken to officers or who has dash cam footage which may assist to get in touch.”
