Crash involving pedestrian and vehicle closes Inverness street

Emergency services rushed out to the scene of the crash in the Merkinch area of Inverness at around 5:30pm this evening.
Officers say Thornbush Road is shut at the junctions with Coronation Park and India Street.
The extent of any potential injuries is currently unknown and the public are being asked to avoid the area.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Thornbush Road in Inverness is closed at the junctions with Coronation Park and India Street due to a collision involving a vehicle and pedestrian.
"Emergency services were called around 5.25pm and remain in attendance.
"Please avoid the area."
