CCTV of man police believe can help with Inverness assault case released

Police have released CCTV footage of a man they believe can help with an investigation into an Inverness serious assault.

The incident took place around 3:25am on Saturday January 7 on Baron Taylor Street.

The man is described as being approximately 6 feet tall, medium build, dark hair and facial hair, wearing a khaki green jacket and denim jeans.

He may also have a piercing to his left eyebrow.

A spokesperson for the force said: “Police Scotland are keen to speak to this man who may have information which could assist with their enquiries. We encourage him or anyone who may recognise him to get in touch.

“Anyone who can assist is asked to contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number CR/3010/23 of 7 January 2023. Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be given anonymously.”
