An Aberdeenshire highway has been closed after a two car crash.

Officers were called to the B9077 at Banchory Devenick around 3pm today.

Police are urging drivers to avoid the area and to be patient.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 3pm on Wednesday, 29 November, to a report of a two car crash on the B9077 at Banchory Devenick.

“Emergency services are in attendance and the road is currently closed."
