Police are investigating an "unexplained death" after a body was found in Caithness.
Officers were called out on Thursday morning to reports of a body being found in the Frewsick area.
Police Scotland say enquiries are ongoing.
A spokesperson said: "Around 10am on Thursday, 28 March, 2024 officers were made aware of the body of a person being found in the area of Freswick, Caithness.
"The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing."
